POKUSA is a Polish family-owned brand built on decades of entrepreneurial experience and a genuine passion for animals, nutrition and a healthier way of life.
Our story began in 1988, when the company now operating as NIKOS was established. Over the years, the business evolved through several industries, gaining extensive experience in production, sourcing, quality management and distribution. In 2013, this experience was combined with something much more personal — our long-standing love for animals and our growing interest in healthy, conscious nutrition. This is how POKUSA was born.
From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: to create products that help animals live healthier, happier and more active lives.
Nutrition without unnecessary compromises
We believe that good health starts with what goes into the bowl.
That is why we focus on carefully selected ingredients, transparent formulations and products designed around the real nutritional needs of dogs and cats. Whenever possible, we source our raw materials from Polish, certified suppliers, with particular attention given to ecological and high-quality agricultural ingredients.
Our portfolio has grown from natural nutritional supplements into a comprehensive range of products including supplements, functional ingredients, natural oils, dry and wet foods, treats and specialist nutritional solutions.
From everyday nutrition to BARF supplementation and targeted support for joints, digestion, immunity, skin and coat, our products are created to help pet owners make better, more informed choices.
Quality and safety remain at the heart of our work. We use certified raw materials and apply strict quality-control procedures, including laboratory testing, before our products reach our customers and their animals.

Education has always been an important part of the POKUSA philosophy.

At the same time, we remain strongly connected to our Polish roots and local supply chain.
Our continued investment in production capacity, modern technologies, automation and new product development is an important part of this journey. Expanding our manufacturing capabilities allows us to introduce innovative foods, functional treats and nutritional supplements while maintaining greater control over quality, consistency and product development.

Nikos sp. z o.o. sp. k. implements a project co-financed by the National Recovery Plan:
"Launch of a production facility for animal feed and nutritional supplements, integrating automation and robotics in production processes, along with supporting infrastructure, at NIKOS."
The objective of the project is to expand private investments in the SME sector.
The project's target group includes company employees, local suppliers of raw materials for agri-food processing and conscious pet owners.
As a result of the investment, not only new jobs will be created, but also new products, particularly dry pet food and functional treats. Additionally, our aim is to attract new retail and wholesale customers, as well as international distributors.

Welcome to the official website of the Pokusa for Health brand, which offers high-quality supplements, nutritional additives, food and treats for dogs and cats, which have been produced out of passion and love for animals since 2015. Our products contain ingredients that are a source of natural antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. We care about their highest quality, bearing in mind the health and good condition of pets, which is why we pack them in pure form, fresh after grinding. We know that the recipe for a long and happy life of pets is a balanced diet.
WHY IS ANIMAL SUPPLEMENTATION IMPORTANT?
There are many methods of feeding pets, and there is certainly no single one that is best. However, what the owner of a pet should care about is the health of his pet. If you choose complete food, pay attention to its quality and composition. Such food should provide your pet with the necessary nutrients in the right amounts and in the right proportions. Remember, however, that nothing prevents you from introducing supplements to your pet's diet that will improve the palatability of the food or, for example, enhance the protective effect of the joints. If you prepare meals for your dog or cat yourself, in addition to the proper balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates, you must remember about the appropriate dose of minerals and vitamins. Their list is quite long, so ready-made supplements are helpful.
